Course Number 2007:  – Christian Stewardship

Description: Students will cover the basic tenets of Christian Stewardship – Time, Talent, and Tithes. Students will learn how to effectively manage their resources through a better understanding of Biblical principles.

 

Course Number 2012:  The Articles of Faith

Textbook: Hiscox: Principles and Practices for Baptist churches

Instructor: Dr. A. J. Ezell

Description: Students will examine an introduction of the articles of faith Baptist in accordance with Biblical teaching.

 

Course Number 2097:  Rethinking Christian Education for Contemporary Innovations

Textbook: SSPB: CLS Manual: Policy and Procedures

Instructor: Dr. Charles Walls

Description: Students will review the requirements of the CLS Manual and   examine current trends, methodologies and practices in Christian Education  to determine their validity and alliance with scriptures.

 

Course Number 7010:   Introduction to Discipleship

Textbook: J. Oswell Sanders: Spiritual Discipleship

Instructor: Rev. B. R. Hargest

Description: Students will examine the character traits of the believer while looking at the overall example of Jesus and learning the difference between discipleship and membership.

 

Course Number 8055:  The Church’s Responsibility to the Twenty-First Century

Textbook:Glen Martin & Gary Mcintosh: Issachar Factor

Instructor: Sis. V. Earlena Mims

Description: Students will examine and recognize twenty- first century challenges (moral, doctrinal, etc.) facing the church and find Biblical support for resolution.

Description: Students will review Baptist Beliefs and Practices that distinguish Baptist from other denominations.

Description: Students will be exposed to human resources, financial   management, administrative controls, and leadership responsibilities.

Course Number 2024:  Teaching Disciple to our Children at Home and Church

Instructor: Sis. Lisa Fisher

Description: Students will be taught and trained in general etiquette and encouraged to involved parents as an intricate part of the process of discipline. Ages 14-15
